BREAKAGES, LOSS or UNRETURNED EQUIPMENT

Breakages, Loss or Unreturned Equipment will incur a cost.

Please also note that upon delivery staff will be request to pickup previously used equipment and/or platters. Please ensure that all items are packed and returned in a clean and orderly fashion.

BREAKS PENALTY FOR PERSONNEL

Hired staff have a break penalty that applies if an individual works more than 5 hours straight without  a break. After the 5th hour every hour thereafter will be charged at $25 per hour during weekdays plus penalties. On weekends: Saturday $35 plus penalties and Sundays $45 plus penalties.

Penalties apply only if a functions hours exceed the allocated shift times.

CANCELLATIONS

For the cancellation of orders and/or postponement for any function

  •  less than 25 persons, a 24 hour notice period – (1 x Business Day)  by 4pm the day prior to the delivery date needs to be confirmed either by phone, fax or email.
  •  more than 25 persons or over $600, a 48 hour notice period – ( 2 x Business Day)  prior to the delivery day needs to be confirmed either by phone or email. There may be a 25% cancellation fee incurred.
  • requiring a buffet service, a 48 hour notice period – ( 2 x Business Day)  prior to the delivery day needs to be confirmed either by phone or email. There may be a 25% cancellation fee incurred.
  • over $1000, a 48 hour notice period – ( 2 x Business Day)  prior to the delivery day needs to be confirmed either by phone or email.

There may be a 50% cancellation fee.

NOTE: Conditions Apply.  We have a drafted company policy which mandates that all client cancelled orders, unused products and food excess is to be donated to Second Bite. We a proud to have formed a special partnership.

DELIVERY FEES

For  the Melbourne Metro Area no delivery fee is required for orders exceeding $75, for outer suburb and Tolled Roads and small fee will apply.

If orders are less than $75 a delivery fee of $15 applies

Melbourne Metro Area
FREE delivery for orders over $75.
$15 delivery for orders under $75.
A surcharge applies for roads with tolls.

Outer Suburbs
A small fee will apply for delivery to outer suburbs, confirmed at time of ordering.
A surcharge applies for roads with tolls.

Rural Victoria
Delivery fees apply for delivery to rural destinations, confirmed at time of ordering.
A surcharge applies for roads with tolls.

DO FOODS CONTAIN TRACES of NUTS, GLUTEN & OTHER ITEMS?

YES, our products may contain traces of nuts.

We manufacture 90% of our products and make every effort to produce Gluten Free products in a controlled environment. However, please note we use gluten in our range of products and therefore cannot guarantee a gluten free environment.

PAYMENTS

Our payment Terms are 30 Days from invoice date.

  • For your convenience we accept all major credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Corporate Cards. A 4.5% Surcharge will apply to Amex Cards
  • Company Cheques, or Cash on Delivery
  • EFT into our Bank Account [All invoices provide our business and banking details]

Please note : All discrepancies must be made within 24 hours of invoice/order date.

The staff at Cultural Catering make it their priority to service our clients requiring short notice orders.

We understand that there are days when time is against us and notification just isn't possible.
