GENERAL QUESTIONS

Cultural Catering is located in Carlton. This allows us to have easy access around Melbourne and surrounding areas.

EQUIPMENT

Cultural Catering prides itself on customer service. As part of that service we have on offer an extensive range of glassware, crockery, cutlery and coffee making facilities.

We also have a broad range of equipment that can be hired for a catered event, including fryers, burners, barbecues, tables, chairs... and more. Please enquire to see if we have the equipment you need.

PERSONNEL

We have professionally trained staff to cater for any event, including chefs, wait or bar staff, any time of the day.

ORDERING

We would appreciate orders to be at least 24 hours prior to delivery, however we understand that there are days when time is against us and notification just isn't possible. We will never say 'No' and that is our Guarantee.

 

If orders are at short notice we request a phone call to ensure you receive all your catering requirements and peace of mind.

Orders placed on the same day as delivery will incur a late delivery charge of $15.

Yes, most products have minimum requirements. These requirements are specific to each individual product and can be found in their respective descriptions in the online store.

DELIVERY

We service clients all over Victoria.

For all areas a late delivery fee of $15 will apply if an order is placed on same day as delivery.

MELBOURNE METRO AREA
FREE delivery for orders over $75.
$25 delivery for orders under $75.
A surcharge applies for roads with tolls.

OUTER SUBURBS
A small fee will apply for delivery to outer suburbs, confirmed at time of ordering.
A surcharge applies for roads with tolls.

RURAL VICTORIA
Delivery fees apply for delivery to rural destinations, confirmed at time of ordering.
A surcharge applies for roads with tolls.

We like our kitchen staff to get a better picture of our clients, their needs and their environments.

So to offer our clients the best service possible we have our chefs and kitchen staff run the deliveries to you.

The people who prepare your food also deliver to you. We are all hands on.

A delivery time will be organised upon confirmation of your order. We aim to provide the best Customer Service available, and getting your delivery exclusively to you is our priority.

We always aim to deliver at the specific time arranged and on occasion it will be slightly earlier. As traffic and other conditions can be a little unpredictable we prefer to be early than run late.

The minimum delivery amount required for deliveries to the Melbourne Metro Area is $75.
For outer suburb and Tolled Roads and small fee will apply. If orders are less than $75 a delivery fee of $25 applies.

All hot food is placed in a Food Transport Box and kept in a heat proof bag to maintain temperature during delivery.

SPECIAL DIETRY REQUIREMENTS

We have developed a menu that caters for all different dietary and religious requirements.

All our products have indicators identifying the dietary requirements.

We are only a phone call away and can supply you with the freshest produce available.

We Cater for all of the following:

  • Vegan
  • Vegetarian
  • Wheat Free
  • Lactose Free
  • Fructose Free
  • Halal

All Meat products are Halal. Certificates are available upon request.

YES, our products may contain traces of wheat and/or nuts.

We manufacture 90% of our products and make every effort to produce Wheat Free and Nut Free food. However, please note we use wheat in our standard range of products and therefore cannot guarantee a wheat or nut free environment.

PAYMENT & PRICING

Our payment terms are 14 days from invoice date.

  • For your convenience we accept Visa and MasterCard. Unfortunately we no longer accept Amex cards.
  • Company cheques, or cash on delivery.
  • EFT into our bank account. All invoices provide our business and banking details.

Please Note: You are not required to pay with a credit card when using the online shopping cart. We will invoice you as per our Term and Conditions.

GLOSSARY OF TERMINOLOGY

One serving size per person.

A Round is a whole Sandwich, Roll or Wrap.

1 Round = 1 Whole Item

Examples:

  • A 4 Point Sandwich is cut into 4 pieces which is equal to 1 Round
  • A Wrap is cut into 2 pieces which equals 1 Round
  • A Ribbon Sandwich is cut into 2 pieces which equals 1 Round
